June 2024 has been an exciting time for both The Pipal Group and Oakley Title with both companies expanding to serve Avon Park and the surrounding areas. We here at The Pipal Group strive to make every real estate transaction as smooth and seamless as possible by bringing industry partners under the same roof which makes it ideal from listing to closing.
Oakley Title LLC is able to handle everything in the real estate process. Once we receive your contract, we can take care of the closing process. Prior to closing we research any documents or titles that come with your property to find out any issues that need to be dealt with before closing.
MEET MINDY OAKLEY
Mindy has worked in the both the real estate and banking industry her entire 25+ year career. She started in banking, working at a small hometown savings and loan institution. That then led her to working for a local auto parts store in the real estate department, where she secured land to build the auto parts stores.
Continuing on her journey, her career path took her to Charlotte, North Carolina to work for a lender that specialized in subprime loans, where she would eventually transfer back to Tampa, Florida as a funding manager. These career experiences led to the title industry where Mindy would work for a few local title agents before working for a real estate attorney, who was a wonderful mentor. He taught her all aspects of real estate closings, from residential to land acquisitions to commercial closings. Mindy found her passion and she fell in love with the business and has based her career on the knowledge of the market which has helped her grow her own well trusted brand in Central Florida.
Jennifer McGee
Born in Ohio--not that you would know from her slight southern accent--Jennifer graduated from Lake Placid High School. After high school she went to Troy University before transferring and graduating from Florida State University. She earned a bachelor's degree in Criminology.
Jennifer is a woman of many hats. She has held positions with law firms, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, DeSoto Correctional Institution, the Agency for Healthcare Administration, as well as non-profit organizations and title companies. Most recently, Jennifer left her position of five and a half years to partner with others and open their own title agency.
She has held several officer positions with the Lake Placid Noon Rotary. This is the Rotary Group which hosts the World Famous Wild Game Dinner annually. This event allows them to return funds raised back into the community on a large scale. She has also served as President of the Highlands Fire and EMS Foundation and was the Secretary for the Friends of Highlands Hammock State Park for many years.
Jennifer has two grown daughters and two grown step children. This makes her Gigi to seven grandchildren who she loves spending time with. She is quick-witted, loves her dogs, reading and arts and crafts.
